WE HAVE MOVED! Our new website is at http://robssatellitetv.com
This website is here in the memory of Robert Evans, founder of Robs Satellite TV, who died on 21st July 2013, aged just 49.
His memory lives on in his creation, this website, and his work continues here and on the new site, helping people to learn about Satellite TV and to exchange information.
The community is still strong, we (Rob and I) had decided to move from webs.com to add new features to the website and make it better. Please go there and register. Regards, Paul Evans (Nephew of Rob).

EURO 2012 POLAND-UKRAINE
Football's 2012 European Championships take place between the 8th of June and the 1st of July in joint host countries Poland and Ukraine
Which channels are showing Euro 2012 live and free to air on satellite?
Here is the Satellite TV channel and programme information, more to come
Euro 2012 will be shown free to air on satellite on the BBC (28 degrees east), ITV (28 degrees east), Das Erste (19 and 13 degrees east), and ZDF (19 and 13 degrees east) channels, you can find the schedule information further down this page, also TF1 and M6 (both at 9 degrees east) will be showing some but not all Euro 2012 games and the BBC Sport Streams 'channels' (28 degrees east) are showing games when the BBC's main channels show the games, BBC Sport Streams has the advantage that they are on the 28 degrees east 'Europe beam' not the 'UK beam' so they can be received across Europe unlike the main BBC channels, I will be adding to the list and updating the schedule soon but if you are not in the UK or Europe but are in or near Thailand when the Euro 2012 football finals are being played then you may be interested to know that Thai TV will be showing the matches live and free to air, Thai TV3 will show 27 games, Thai TV5 and Thai TV7 will show 3 games each, Thaicom 5 at 78.5 degrees east is the place to be!
Italian channels Rai 1 and Rai Sport 1 which are for most of the time free to air on Eutelsat Hotbird at 13 degrees east are showing UEFA's Euro 2012 football championships, I am posting this to inform people who are thinking of watching Euro 2012 on Rai 1 and Rai Sport 1 for free that Euro 2012 will not be free to air, it will be encrypted on Rai 1 and Rai Sport 1, there is a very small possibility that someone at Rai will forget to set the encryption on Rai Sport 1 but this is very doubtful
UEFA's Euro 2012 football championships will be shown on Turkey's TRT 1 HD channel on Eutelsat 7A at 7 degrees east, frequency 10928 Vertical, Symbol Rate 30.000, FEC 5/6, TRT 1HD is free to air but when it shows Euro 2012 it is possible that it will be encrypted, TRT's 'other' channels at 7 degrees east (specifically TRT 1 and TRT 3) usually encrypt when they show sports, especially when they show 'top' sports events, many thanks go to 'Sebastião' for telling me that TRT 1 will show Euro 2012
There could/should be 'feeds' of UEFA's Euro 2012 football championships at the following satellite positions - 33 degrees east, 16 degrees east, 10 degrees east, 3 degrees east (I 'generalise' the satellite positions i.e. I say 33 degrees east, it's correct position is 33.2 degrees east, e.t.c.), these 'feeds' could be free or they could be encrypted
all times are U.K. times
